[ They've been in the manor for several weeks now, and with all the death happening around them, the trials... well. It really emphasizes just how important it is to not leave things unsaid, to not be left with any regrets. That's how Mira sees it, anyway. She thinks some of the others might agree, really.

That's why it's so rough, the trials. But they endure. And right now, Mira can't think about any of that. Refuses to, actually. So-- yeah. That's why she's waiting for Yuri in her room. She's pacing up a storm, because for an empath, she sure is bad at her own feelings. ]

[ Yuri might not be an empath and she certainly doesn't consider herself particularly people savvy, but she has... let's call it a feeling what this could, maybe, be about. Call it wishful thinking, or call it reading the writing on the wall after a few weeks spent in the horniest mansion in space. She feels like she should be embarrassed or ashamed about having thoughts or hopes about that kind of thing but... well, again. Horniest mansion in space.

Despite all that, she still feels her heart seize up with anxiety when she actually knocks on Mira's door and her voice makes a very unflattering show of cracking when she speaks up to be allowed in. ]

[ Ah, there she is. Mira feels her heart race--absolutely embarrassing--and her throat feels a little tight. But, she's here. And-- yeah. It's been on her mind, too. Horniest mansion in space. I, um... I'm not quite sure. It almost feels like I barely have it in me to be sad anymore at this point.

[ Her hand relaxes a little and she tentatively winds her fingers through Mira's. ]

Th–that's an awful thing to say though, isn't it? I'm sorry.

[ Oh... despite that, her heart does something absolutely embarrassing when Yuri intertwines their fingers. She has to focus on breathing, for a few moments. But she shakes her head, all the same. ]

... Even if I don't quite feel the same, you know you can tell me anything, [ she says softly. ] I... don't want you to feel like you can't tell me something.

[ Nope. There goes her voice. Even thinking the words is enough to make her throat constrict and she finds that she suddenly can't say anything at all, like her own personal filter is coming down hard as possible to stop anything from coming out.
