plEASE JUST BE NICE TO HER |
- BB is here for all your getting-stepped-on-and-called-mean-shit needs. Probably not any actual sex but a whole load of bullying, femdomming and all that sort of thing. Probably going to work best as an FGO adjacent AU sort of thing with BB summoned as a servant to Chaldea and bullying her new Master?? OR EVEN A JAMJAR CR THING THE WORLD IS OUR OYSTER.
- Brynhildr is here for all of your Rei Ayanami Expy Moonlighting As A Yandere needs. She's very calm and collected and seemingly emotionless but then when she falls in love!! All bets are off!! I know I said yandere right here but honestly she has such a bad time in canon i jUST WANT HER TO HAVE A GOOD TIME?? The "Mostly M/F" is just based on some in-game stuff that shows her mostly preferring men but also being attracted to knightly/heroic women and enbies too (the actual criteria seems to be "Valhalla candidate" SO DO WITH THAT AS YOU WILL).
- Yuri is ALSO A MESS but more of the "please help i am dying of anxiety at every waking moment" variety. Super socially anxious but kind of overwhelmingly explodes w/affection and love when she gets the apparent okay for it from the person she likes. Is probably the type to steamroll her partner a bit with attention because she's jUST THAT INTO IT.
Other characters are available on request these are just the girls I was most Feelin It Mr Krabs with at the time. SO UHHH HAVE AT IT I GUESS

it's about time SOMEBODY was!!
It's mostly that more than anything else that means she doesn't hear Chris slip into the library or notice him at all until he actually speaks up. She starts a bit, looking up from her book and blinking rapidly like she's having to take a second to place herself back in the real world. ]
Ah– [ There, now she's caught up. Her momentary deer-in-headlights expression softens into a smile. ] Um, it's a horror novel I've been meaning to read for a while. The Broken Banner. Have you read it yet?
no subject
Not yet— I'm picky enough about horror that I'd rather wait for a recommendation. What's it about?
no subject
[ She shuts the book over, using her thumb on the page to mark her place for a moment. ]
It's about a boy and a girl who grow up together in their village out in the countryside, but when war breaks out, they're separated. They both end up joining different factions to try and find each other again, but things don't turn out like they were hoping. It takes a little while to get into the horror, but I'm finding it really engaging so far. The worldbuilding is well done, too... you can tell the author's done a lot of research into these kinds of situations to get it all just right.
no subject
Hmm. Good worldbuilding is always a plus— and I'll admit, most of why I tend to be picky over my horror is being in the unfortunate position of knowing too much to be able to suspend my disbelief. I'll have to take a turn when you're done with it.
[ he can do this! he can be a good friend and a good husband and hold a conversation about a shared interest and not interrupt her reading solely to jump her like some sort of terrible stereotype.
...never mind the fact that he very nearly just got distracted by her hands. and her mouth. and— no, no, stop that. ]
no subject
Mmn! I think it works so well here, because even though the world itself is fanatsy, there isn't really anything very fantastical about the horror. It's all grounded in the things the characters go through, and how they react to and change because of it. They both have such different sets of values and beliefs and it changes how you see the world – so you can't even be sure how much of what either is telling you is the truth.
[ She looks set to carry on with that for a while longer, but then she looks up at him and sees the look on his face and... ah. Hold on a second. Her smile suddenly turns a little shy and she slowly reaches up to just barely touch the side of his face. ]
... um... i–is everything alright?
no subject
I, ah— sorry. I'm fine, but... well, your groom is an absent-minded fool who forgot to eat again.
[ the fingers he gently curls around her wrist are colder than usual. ]
I apologize for interrupting while you were enjoying yourself, but by the time I realized I was actually hunting you down I was already here.
no subject
Oh, um– n–no, it's fine! [ They might be Literally Married to some degree but Yuri still hasn't quite gotten accustomed to all this. She certainly doesn't mind, but it's hard to talk yourself down from a life of being taught that this sort of thing is improper, even between a man and wife. ] I... I really don't mind.
[ She might, if it was anyone else, but when it's Chris, and he looks so sheepish and apologetic... it's sweet, somehow. It makes her feel glad that she's the one on the recieving end of this attention. After a moment of awkwardness, she scoots herself to the side in her seat so he can join her. ]
Um– here. You can come and sit with me.
no subject
Well. if I'm being invited...
[ #vampirejokes.
rather than coming around to sit properly, he just slides over the arm on the side she'd left open for him— the most he could bring himself to compromise on the undignified urge to try to take the most direct route by climbing directly over the back of the chair. ]
no subject
Um... Is there anything I need to do? A--apart from... You know.
[ ... Actually she's going to go ahead and put her book to one side just in case... ]
no subject
someday she'll see him as a wolf and have that impression blown entirely out of the water.]Not really, aside from getting comfortable. Where did you...?
[ glancing deliberately from her wrist (still held loosely in his hand, his thumb on her pulse) to her neck, and very firmly not letting himself look down at her legs. or think about the artery on her inner thigh, for that matter. there's not enough room for that sort of thing, if literally nothing else.
(...unless he knelt, maybe, and she stayed in the chair—?
—he really should have gone off to dunk his head, good Lord.) ]
no subject
W... Where did I what?
no subject
...Where would you prefer me to bite you?
[ thankfully, the question comes out more or less smoothly, even though he's vibrating internally at about the same frequency as Yuri. the least he can do is try to make this good for her. ]
no subject
I, um... wherever would be better for you is fine.
[ Ah, but that sounds awfully wishy-washy doesn't it? And if she sounds so wishy washy, he might think she's forcing herself and that's not right at all. ]
N–no, what I mean is– ... when it's you, I don't mind at all where it is. I really don't.
