I have everyone here with me! Maybe we don't talk all the time or we haven't make friends in person yet, but with every single person right here in Miyabi, how could I ever be lonely?
Well... people are people, but— mm, there are things humans can't understand about what it's like to be a person who was made? Just as there are things we can't completely understand about being human. That isn't a bad thing, but sometimes it can make for a sort of distance. And so can being someone so many people look up to.
[ pausing for a beat, and then she laughs, a little sheepish ]
It can be different than having a peer around, I suppose I'm saying. I don't mean to be discouraging; I was just in that kind of position myself for a while, so I get fussy about it.

I guess it makes sense, though. Even if you're surrounded by people, if no one understands you and no one cares enough to try, it'll feel like you're the only person in the room... how horrible.

[ she sounds so concerned, like the idea of Kaiko being made to feel even slightly out of place is enough to break her heart. they've been talking for all of five minutes and yet Mu has very clearly decided they're the best of friends. ]
That really does sound awful. But I promise, you wouldn't ever have to worry about anything like that in Mobius! I'd make sure of it myself.

Ah— it's fine, it's fine, though I do appreciate the thought. I did have to live with that sort of situation when I was younger, but I've gained family and several good friends since then.
[ she makes a little surprised noise at the sudden hand-holding, but the sound isn't displeased in the slightest, and it doesn't stop her from returning the squeeze. however... there's a strange faint prickle at the contact. it's too mild to be called a shock by any means, but it's definitely static electricity. ]
