BACKSTORY TRANSCRIPTION FROM PLURK: history remembers that either the legendary heroes included or were backed up by a wildly powerful sorceress who disappeared mysteriously once her work was done, and she was never heard from again. this is not entirely the case. that woman aided the legendary heroes because she'd been duped by their justice and heroism facade herself, but eventually got in deep enough that she learned that some Shit Was Fucked and got it in her mind to do something about it, and she absolutely had the power to manage it. for whatever reason killing her wasn't an option (maybe because of How Magic Works or maybe she has a relative/lover among the heroes who wouldn't let her be killed? also i'm making up my own magic rules here) so instead a curse was placed on her that affected her own memories as well as everyone's memories of her: she didn't know who she was anymore, and no one who saw her would be able to recognize her as who she used to be ever again.
she fucks off to the countryside, has a daughter, names her lucille. years go by and something goes wrong, her memories are starting to return, she's reconciling her knowledge of the world now with what she knows of the group she meant to take down—and she disappears
the curse of how lucille's mother is recognized by people around her affects everyone that woman has ever met or will ever meet, including lucille herself—she remembers her mother, her only family, but she's been without her mother for long enough now that she can't remember her name. because she's never used a last name, she tries to use her mother's name as her own second name, but...was it Luminita? Lucasta? Luxianne? lucille never knew about the curse herself, so she has no idea why she can't remember and just kind of thinks she's broken.
Powers and shit: tentatively putting her down as a red mage style jack-of-all-trades master-of-none, who does light sword fighting along with the use of some basic spells, which she has mastered making look flashy, if not entirely useful

Reasonably down to earth when calm, but it's very easy to make him Uncalm. On a journey to earn his knighthood by merit because he failed the exam but sometimes they will overlook that if you do a dramatic enough Good Thing. Powers and shit: Your melee fighter and tank-by-default. Probably knows a handful of MAgic Sword Things, because this is a JRPG, but mostly here to hit stuff.

Bio: Ninja class, half-demon. Formerly an assassin working for the church, found out some Dark Secret and became a liability, so they tried to have her executed. She escaped and went into hiding, working as a traveling doctor to survive. Learned some healing magic. Helped the party as a primary healer, was kind of subpar, but then when she was recognized by a church authority figure, class changed back to ninja with sub white mage powers. once she's a ninja again she tries to be silent and mysterious again but the party already knows she's a dork so it doesn't work. Powers and shit: NINJA SHIT high speed, high dexterity, low strength. she has a very high crit rate and her attacks hit multiple times, and some of her moves ignore defense. very low base numbers but stack a lot of multipliers to win. also white mage. some cures, some status heals, enough to work as a traveling doctor.

Trips and gets stuck with this disaster party, somehow? Because actually guys. Guys maybe the church is bad? He's loyal to them and all and this SUCKS, but as much as his morals are not... great, this shit is getting a little evil even for him. Starts showing that he cares as he's around the party. Someone (connected to the church, but whether she knows that or not is ???) stole a relic from the ruins she explores that were supposedly relevant to the legendary heroes' quest, and she wants it back. Powers and shit: No magic, but she's a ranged fighter who uses bow weapons, particularly a wrist-mounted crossbow.
