Name: Lucille Lu____; she's constantly making up new things for her last name to be (Luminita, Lucasta, Luxianne) and running with it full-force like she wasn't calling herself something completely different fifteen minutes ago Appearance/Image References/PB/WHATEVER: SPARKLY
Bio: Lulu thinks she's the protagonist and that this is a magical girl anime and not a jrpg. it doesn't matter what conversation you're trying to have with her because she is actively choosing to have and hear the conversation she wants to have. she's theatrical and dramatic and flamboyant all the time, disgustingly assured in her abilities and her uniqueness, and cannot perform the simplest action without going through an entire monologue about it. she's consistently and amazingly upbeat, social and friendly and ever a ball of sunshine and optimism, but she's also an attention hog and completely insufferable
secretly, her mother—her only family; her father's disappearance when she was very young means lucille goes without a last name—mysteriously vanished because of [PLOT REASONS] and she's on a journey to get some answers and hopefully reunite with her mother. she's so broken up about the whole thing, though, that she only discusses it in terms of her DIVINE QUEST TO CONQUER EVIL ON BEHALF OF A LEGENDARY MAIDEN OF YORE and if anyone ever asks her to elaborate she just goes on about it Like That until you don't want her to elaborate on it anymore
she's basically on a completely different plane of existence than anyone else at all times. also on that plane of existence, her food is good. you can tell her it's not all you want, she's not listening
BACKSTORY TRANSCRIPTION FROM PLURK: history remembers that either the legendary heroes included or were backed up by a wildly powerful sorceress who disappeared mysteriously once her work was done, and she was never heard from again. this is not entirely the case. that woman aided the legendary heroes because she'd been duped by their justice and heroism facade herself, but eventually got in deep enough that she learned that some Shit Was Fucked and got it in her mind to do something about it, and she absolutely had the power to manage it. for whatever reason killing her wasn't an option (maybe because of How Magic Works or maybe she has a relative/lover among the heroes who wouldn't let her be killed? also i'm making up my own magic rules here) so instead a curse was placed on her that affected her own memories as well as everyone's memories of her: she didn't know who she was anymore, and no one who saw her would be able to recognize her as who she used to be ever again.
she fucks off to the countryside, has a daughter, names her lucille. years go by and something goes wrong, her memories are starting to return, she's reconciling her knowledge of the world now with what she knows of the group she meant to take down—and she disappears
the curse of how lucille's mother is recognized by people around her affects everyone that woman has ever met or will ever meet, including lucille herself—she remembers her mother, her only family, but she's been without her mother for long enough now that she can't remember her name. because she's never used a last name, she tries to use her mother's name as her own second name, but...was it Luminita? Lucasta? Luxianne? lucille never knew about the curse herself, so she has no idea why she can't remember and just kind of thinks she's broken.
Powers and shit: tentatively putting her down as a red mage style jack-of-all-trades master-of-none, who does light sword fighting along with the use of some basic spells, which she has mastered making look flashy, if not entirely useful
